Bar is a family run Bar in the heart of North Manchester on the border of Crumpsall, Prestwich &
Blackley just 3 miles away from the City Centre. Cheers Bar is renowned for its friendly atmosphere, live sport and live
music. The Cheers has a great sporting tradition and is home to three football teams, darts teams, and not least its Golf Society. The city is full of great attractions but If you're visiting the area and want to experience the real Manchester, then a trip to the Cheers is a must. Expect to see some of the old greats of the Manchester scene who still support local live music along with an array of new up-and-coming artists. There's a plethora of talent on show, from original artists to tribute acts, and from covers bands to cabaret artists. There's something for everyone. Cheers Bar has the full Sky & ESPN package & Racing UK. All the games, major sporting events and racing are brought to you on the big screens. If you're not sure if your event is being screened just contact us. City or United bar? the answer is neither. Cheers Bar is a mixed bar which means we show both games and cater for both sets of fans. Our door policy is simple. if you're a decent person, sober, over 21 and are dressed appropriately then you'll be most welcome. Last entry in the evening is 11pm. Under 21's are strictly at the managements discretion, if your unsure then contact us in advance Opening times are Mon-Thu 4pm to midnight, Fri-Sun noon till midnight. We cater for parties and groups of both locals and overseas visitors. So if you're in town to watch a big concert or here to watch United or City and want a friendly place to base yourselves then contact the landlord. We can arrange transport, accommodation, travel, and even concert and match tickets. Oh and of course VIP treatment at the Cheers Bar. Were just over 3 miles north of the MEN arena and Victoria Station, the closest bar to Heaton Park and also in close proximity to Old Trafford and The City of Manchester Stadium. Cheers Bar is on the doorstep of the local tram stop Bowker Vale which makes Cheers and all the local attractions easily accessible. Check the Metrolink website for specific times and fares. For group booking contact the landlord of Cheers Bar and he'll arrange a discount. The local tram network operates a 6-12 minute service to all the main attractions and if your peckish then why not try Jolly's Bistro directly across the road. |
